The interactive map shows events near you or in any city of your choice. Each colored dot represents an event category. Click a dot to see the event details.
Use the search bar at the top of the map and type a city name. The map automatically zooms to that area and shows available events.
Use the filter panel to select one or more event types: concerts, expositions, markets, sports, conferences and more.
The date filter lets you select: Today, This weekend, This week, or a custom date range. Events outside the range are hidden from the map.
Quick filters are pre-configured shortcuts. Click one to instantly activate a location + period combination. The "July 2026" filter covers the Wikimania period (July 18–27), a major global event.
Open the event detail page and scroll to the Comments section. The discussion thread supports two levels: main comments and direct replies.
Below each comment, emoji buttons are available: 👍 ❤️ 😂 😮. The counter updates in real time for all page visitors.
On the event detail page, you'll find share buttons for WhatsApp, Facebook and X (Twitter), as well as a copy link button.
Open the ☰ menu and click Enable notifications. Your browser will ask for permission — accept to receive event alerts.
On the detail page, click the ⚠️ Report button. Choose the reason (incorrect date, wrong location, duplicate, etc.). Our team handles reports within 24 hours.
The Featured section is visible from the app home screen. It displays as a carousel on mobile and a grid on desktop, with events highlighted by our editorial team.

Submit and manage your events
Click the + Add button in the app. Fill in the complete form: title, description, date, location (with address autocomplete), category and access type. Submit — your event will be reviewed within a few hours.
Scan & Publish uses Claude Vision AI to read a photo of your event poster. In about 10 seconds, it automatically extracts the title, date, location, description and category, then pre-fills the form for you.
Yes. If the poster mentions a recurrence ("every Friday", "monthly"), Scan & Publish detects it and automatically pre-fills the frequency and relevant days in the form.
Yes. If you scan a calendar or multi-event program, the AI detects N distinct events. You can select which ones to submit before confirming.
In the add form, check the "This event repeats" box. Then set the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly) and days. Lotbo automatically generates up to 5 occurrences.
Check the "All day" box in the form. The start and end time fields disappear automatically.
Fill in different Start date and End date fields. The event will automatically display a Multi-day badge on the map and in lists.
Between a few hours and 24 hours depending on submission volume. Each event goes through manual review to ensure data quality.
Most common reasons: incomplete information, duplicate of an already published event, or address not found on the map. Fix the information and resubmit — no penalty.
Yes. On the event page, click "Suggest a correction". Indicate the field to correct with the old and new value. The correction is reviewed by our team.
Go to your profile → Create an organization. Fill in the name, tagline, main city and add your logo. A public showcase is automatically created.
On your organization's Members page, click Invite. Enter the email address and role. The invitation link is valid for 14 days.

Yes, completely. Lotbo is free for users, contributors and organizers. No commission, no subscription, no hidden fees. LOTBO is a pure discovery layer — it never sells tickets.
No. Lotbo is strictly an event discovery platform. We do not sell tickets, process payments or take commissions. Ticket purchase is done directly with the organizer or on their official platform.

Go to Profile → Settings → Delete my account. Enter the keyword SUPPRIMER (in any language) to confirm. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
